Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Low Voltage Safety Manager for a long-term opportunity in Greenville, SC for 75k to 80k per year based on experience.  
 
Low Voltage Safety Manager at Next Level Technician will be working at a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites. These sites can include schools, hospitals, offices, retail stores, and industrial plants and warehouses.  Each site and scope of work will be unique and add to the skillset and knowledge of the Low Voltage Safety Manager !

Low Voltage Safety Manager Responsibilities:  

  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s Health & Safety Program for low voltage cabling installations.
  • Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Enforce OSHA standards and ensure all work adheres to regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and deliver safety training specific to low voltage cabling (e.g., ladder safety, confined spaces, electrical hazard awareness).
  • Maintain safety documentation including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), incident reports, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and safety meeting records.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe working conditions; recommend preventative measures.
  • Work closely with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure safety protocols are being followed at all times.
  • Coordinate safety drills and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Ensure the correct use of PPE and safety equipment related to low voltage environments (e.g., fiber optics, CAT6, structured cabling).
  • Keep current with OSHA standards and industry best practices.
Low Voltage Safety Manager Requirements:  
  • OSHA 510 Certification (Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) REQUIRED.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a safety management role within the low voltage, telecommunications, or construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and applicable safety regulations.
  • Strong understanding of risks related to low voltage cabling, including ladder work, ceiling space navigation, electrical hazards, and cable pulling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to train and influence field staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software (e.g., iAuditor, SafetyCulture, etc.).
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • CHST, CSP, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
