Next Level Technician is urgently seeking a Sales Rep in Raleigh NC

Summary of Job:
Our sales professional will identify and schedule appointments via prospecting, company referrals, events, and consistent customer contact. This position will consult with both commercial and residential prospects (with a majority being commercial small business to large enterprise) to educate, design, and implement the installation and service of security product lines including integration such as security cameras, access control, biometrics, alarm systems, CCTV, audio/visual, and data networking. The sales professional will conduct on-site sales presentations with the intention of closing and scheduling new projects, which includes recommending the best product/service based on the client’s needs.


Compensation:
Base plus commission. Base commensurate with experience and proven track record.  Full-time benefits provided.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sales plan for all business areas:  security systems, access control, security cameras, audio/visual, data networking, etc., with familiarity of all major brands.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities to ensure customer and company sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Negotiate contracts and execute pricing strategy to develop new business and maintain existing business.
  • Monitor sales performance and refine strategies as needed to meet assigned goals and objectives. Reallocate resources to improve results where necessary.
  • Contribute to marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies.
  • Engage in continual coaching and training on the organization’s products, marketing efforts, and sales techniques.
  • Focus on high-level customer networking and drive growth through collaboration and customer success.
  • Design and quote security system integration and fire/life safety systems for clients.
  • Develop business plans for the Upstate territory including strategies for growth and customer relationships.
  • Meet with key clients to build and strengthen relationships and negotiate/close deals.
  • Participate in technician ride-alongs to stay engaged with integration and project processes.
  • Ensure that quality business is secured with approved contract terms and profitable pricing practices.
  • Administer and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Position Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in security integration and life safety systems sales, including:
    • 5-7 years (minimum) of documented, successful monthly sales performance in this field.
    • Systems design and builds for access control, IP cameras, alarm/intrusion, fire alarm, network, AV, or a combination thereof using major industry brands
