Next Level Technician
is urgently hiring Low Voltage Security & CCTV Technicians
for a long-term opportunity in the Dallas/Fort Worth Market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems and surveillance cameras for commercial and residential clients.
Low Voltage Security & CCTV Technician Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and service security and CCTV systems, including:
- Video surveillance (CCTV)
- Access control
- Intrusion detection
- Intercom and gate operators
- Work with leading manufacturers such as Dahua, Brivo, LiftMaster, Alarm.com, and Honeywell .
- Perform testing, programming, and verification to ensure system functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site in a timely and professional manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers and ensure satisfaction with service provided.
- Proven experience installing and servicing low voltage security systems and CCTV cameras.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dahua, Brivo, LiftMaster, Alarm.com, and Honeywell systems (manufacturer certifications are a strong plus).
- Ability to run and terminate cabling, mount cameras, program panels, and integrate systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Manufacturer certifications with any of the above brands.
- Knowledge of current codes and standards related to low voltage/security installations.
- OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.
