Bailey System's is looking for a Low Voltage Security Technician in the Hampton, Chesapeake,  and VA Beach area! 
  • Pay 23-28/hr
  • Shift M-F 6am start- 8hr shifts
  • If techs Traveling over 1 hr away- Will work either DT or Mileage
  • Cover all parking expenses as needed
  • Home Depot Card for Materials needed on site
  • Take care of their employees- always working to make tings right with there techs if there is an issue 
Requirements
Access Control/CCTV Technician Responsibilities:
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, servicing and programming/commissioning security, Access Control devices.
  • Install door hardware (MAG Locks, electric strikes etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret access control blueprints
  • Proficient pulling, terminating, and testing CAT5, CAT6 and Fiber
  • Experience working with a wide variety of Security Manufacturers
Access Control/CCTV Technician Requirements:
  • 3+ years commercial installation experience
  • Lift, and OSHA Certifications are a PLUS
  • Manufacturer certifications are a PLUS
  • DCJS Certification is a HUGE Plus- If not, Bailey Systems will work to get certified during CTH period (huge selling point)
Teams Questions Per Client Request (If we have a teams on file, we will need to re-teams to hit these questions)
  • Can you walk me through a project where you installed a security system? What was the scope of the work, and how did you approach it?
  • Tell me about a time you encountered a difficult technical issue while installing or servicing access control or CCTV equipment. How did you diagnose the problem, and what steps did you take to resolve it?
  • Describe a situation where you had to manage multiple tasks on a job site, such as cabling, programming, and troubleshooting, at the same time. How did you prioritize and stay organized?
  • How do you typically keep track of parts, serial numbers, and time on-site to ensure your reporting is complete and accurate?
  • How do you adapt when working on unfamiliar equipment or technology?
  • Can you share an example of when you had to collaborate closely with a team to complete an installation? How does your approach change when you’re working independently?
  • How do you stay current with new systems, software, or industry standards? Can you share an example of when you applied newly learned knowledge on the job?
