Responsibilities- Install and service access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and electric strikes
- Install mag locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware
- Terminate and connect reader cables and field devices back to control panels
- Perform panel wiring and device connections for access control systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems
- Run, route, terminate, and label low voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6)
- Assist with installation of network devices and wireless access points
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform service work when needed
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while following safety standards
- 2+ years of commercial low voltage or security system installation experience
- Experience installing access control systems and door hardware
- Working knowledge of CCTV systems and structured cabling
- Ability to read blueprints and system drawings
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, or similar security platforms
- Manufacturer certifications a plus
- Experience working in commercial buildings, hospitals, or industrial environments
- BICSI, OSHA, or lift certifications
