Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control systems
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, door position switches, etc.)
• Install, service, and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV/video surveillance systems
• Install and maintain alarm systems and related security devices
• Install structured voice/data cabling to support security and network infrastructure
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
• Perform hardware maintenance, software updates, and system troubleshooting
• Support infrastructure and low voltage systems across commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)
• Conduct basic system testing and assist with proof-of-concept evaluations

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial low voltage/security installation experience
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
• Understanding of IP networking and structured cabling principles
• Ability to support system programming and commissioning (preferred)
• Manufacturer certifications, OSHA, BICSI, and lift certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel within the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex as needed
