Low Voltage Security Technician – Access Control & CCTV

Savannah, GA

Join Next Level Technician as a Security Technician in Savannah, GA! Earn $25–$35/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work supporting commercial security and low voltage projects. We are seeking experienced technicians with strong backgrounds in access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and low voltage infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems, CCTV systems, and security alarm equipment

Pull, route, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for security systems

Drill, route, and secure cabling through walls, ceilings, floors, and other building structures

Install and connect control panels, door contacts, card readers, strikes, mag locks, sensors, keypads, and cameras

Install conduit, raceway, and cable support systems as needed

Test and troubleshoot circuits, sensors, power supplies, and security devices

Perform system startup, commissioning, and functional testing

Program and configure security systems, cameras, and access control devices as required

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues

Assign and configure IPv4 addresses for cameras, controllers, and network-connected devices

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics

Complete projects safely, on time, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations

Maintain accurate project documentation and service records

Requirements

3+ years of commercial low voltage or security system installation experience

Experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, or alarm systems

Strong understanding of low voltage wiring, device termination, and system testing

Basic networking knowledge including IPv4 addressing and device connectivity

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams

Professional communication and customer service skills

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Open Options, DSX, Paxton, HID, Honeywell, or similar systems

Experience with IP cameras and video management systems

OSHA, lift, or manufacturer certifications

Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, or enterprise environments

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Ability to work on ladders, lifts, ceilings, and in confined spaces

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday

Comfortable working in construction and non-climate-controlled environments
