Next Level Technician is hiring a Low Voltage Service Technician in the Pittsburgh Metro Area . This role is responsible for responding to service calls, troubleshooting systems, and supporting field operations with equipment configuration, testing, and occasional installations. We're looking for a skilled technician with experience in access control, surveillance, alarm systems, and network infrastructure who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to service calls and diagnose issues in:
- IP & analog CCTV systems
- Access control and intercom systems
- Alarm systems and general network infrastructure
- Low-voltage cabling and connectivity
- Pre-configure and test devices before deployment (e.g., NVRs, switches, firewalls)
- Support installations when needed due to project timelines or staffing
- Document all work using internal tracking systems
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients about service status and system recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and inventory of tools/materials
- Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in low-voltage integration or service
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across various system types
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced field environment
- CCTV: Hanwha, Geovision, Uniview, LTS
- Networking: Ubiquiti equipment, SonicWall firewalls
- Access Control: PDK, Aiphone, Tektone, Linear
- Alarms: Alarm.com, Ajax
- Based in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area
- Daily travel to job sites required
- No daily reporting to office
