Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling & Security Systems | Lubbock, TX

Responsibilities:
- Pull, terminate, dress, and label Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and service access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems
- Build out and support MDFs, IDFs, telecom rooms, and network infrastructure
- Read and interpret low voltage system layouts, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Test all installed cabling using appropriate testing equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and system performance issues
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Install and support low voltage systems in K-12 schools, commercial buildings, offices, and industrial facilities
Requirements:
- 2+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in low voltage systems
- Must have K-12 project experience and knowledge of school environments
- Experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure
- Semblance experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
