What You'll Be Doing
As a Low Voltage Cable Technician with Next Level Technician, you'll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects , including:

Hospitals, schools, universities (such as USC), office buildings, retail stores, and industrial facilities

Installation, termination, and testing of Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, and fiber optic cables
-
Running, bending, and installing conduit (EMT, flex, etc.) per code
-
Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction documents
-
Troubleshooting and repairing structured cabling systems
-
Adhering to OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines
-
Maintaining clean, organized job sites with proper cable labeling and documentation
-
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other trades

What We’re Looking For
-
1–3+ years of experience in low voltage or structured cabling
-
Experience working on hospital sites or large campuses like USC is preferred
-
Familiarity with BICSI standards and industry best practices
-
Ability to read blueprints and follow construction documents
-
Skilled in using hand/power tools and conduit bending equipment
-
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active job sites
-
Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
