General Responsibilities & Positions Purpose:
Working on a medium paced packing line, unpacking and repackaging dairy produces. You will be required to perform any combination of receiving, storing and distribution task
Duties:
- Load/unload stacks of crates and move items around the floor
- Rotate Products daily
- Sort, bundle and fill containers
- Place items in assembly Monitor materials, products and equipment at each step of process and report irregularities to supervisor
- Some roles will require to life or move heavy items and/or stand for long periods of time
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 30-40 pounds repeatedly every few seconds when boxing products
- Perform repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, lifting, sitting or standing
- Able to lift 20 pounds repeatedly very few seconds when boxing
- Able to work the entire shift scheduled for the day/attention to detail/ good hand/eye coordination
- Able to count products to 50/record accurately and consistently/ability to work in fast paced environment
Capability and or Experienced Required
-Any prior packaging experience preferred
-Understand and comply with lock out tags out procedures thought
-One year related experienced and/or training;
Personal Protective Equipment and Dress Code Required
-Casual wear such as jeans, t-shirt, comfortable shoes, no hooded sweatshirts allowed
-Some positions requires you to obtain a company sponsored certification in order to perform
- You are required to wear appropriate work and safety gear at all times
