Job Summary:
Topper Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented MIG Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding on metal components in a fast-paced production environment while meeting efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications

Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings for optimal performance

Read and interpret technical drawings and production orders to ensure accurate welds

Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance, making adjustments as needed

Maintain consistent production output while adhering to company quality standards

Operate additional equipment such as grinders, drills, and measuring tools as needed

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:

Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production setting

Basic math and measuring skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Welding certification is a plus

Experience with jig setups and fixture welding

Familiarity with quality inspection tools and techniques
Work Environment:
This position operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
Schedule:
Full-time position with potential for overtime based on production needs
