Job Description Title: Stock Room Clerk Date Created: June 2020 Date Revised Department: Supply Chain Management # Direct Reports: 0 Reports to: Supply Chain ManageJob Description Title: Stock Room Clerk Date Created: June 2020 Date Revised Department: Supply Chain Management # Direct Reports: 0 Reports to: Supply Chain Manager FLSA Status: (Classified by HR) None Exempt Position Summary Preforms various functions related to the accurate and timely receipt, stocking, and issuing of various components in support of our manufacturing operations. Also includes activities related to verifying inventory accuracy within our operation. Any other duties as assigned. Job Duties 1. Receipt of Product – Includes material verification from both internal operations and outside vendors, recording of receipt on paper/electronic documents, updating our computer records, and the put-away of product to the proper storage location. 2. Issue of Product – Includes removal of components from stocking location, and movement of items to correct work center for further processing. Includes recording activities on paper/electronic documents and updating our computer records as needed. 3. Cycle Count- Assist in the process of verifying our inventory investment, including physical counts, system updates, review of variances. 4. Material Movement – Includes activities related to receipt & issuing product, but also includes unloading of trucks, and organizational activities within the workplace. May include operation of Forklifts, hand carts and other lifting tools as needed. Would also include update of computer records 5. Packaging – Assists as needed activities related to preparing products for shipment to our customer. May include boxing or palletizing products. 6. Other duties as assigned.
