Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pallet Rework Associate to join our team. This role involves breaking down, rebuilding, and reworking wooden pallets to company specifications. Candidates must have experience with woodwork or carpentry and feel comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Break down damaged pallets safely and efficiently
Rebuild and rework pallets to required specifications
Measure wood pieces accurately to designated lengths
Use hand tools and power tools (hammers, saws, nail guns, pry bars)
Inspect finished pallets for quality, durability, and safety
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and report any issues to management
Qualifications
Previous woodwork, carpentry, or pallet repair experience required
Ability to measure accurately using tape measures and basic tools
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Warehouse setting
