Next Level Technician is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex structured cabling and data center construction projects. This role requires a blend of technical, operational, and leadership capabilities to ensure all aspects of the project—from pre-construction through closeout—are executed on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all phases of structured cabling and data center construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop schedules, track milestones, and align project goals with client expectations.

Oversee material and product selection, ensuring constructability and cost-effectiveness during pre-construction phases.

Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, progress reports, and forecasts.

Coordinate travel logistics for technicians and manage site personnel.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.

Lead the hiring, training, and supervision of project teams and site staff.

Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Oversee procurement of materials and project-related equipment.

Conduct jobsite inspections and quality control checks.

Resolve issues related to delays, change orders, or field emergencies.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction through proactive communication.

Deliver weekly/monthly reports, including billing and invoicing.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

10+ years of experience managing construction or structured cabling/data center projects.

Strong understanding of project financials, earned value metrics, and scheduling.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multi-trade efforts.

Experience with contract negotiation and administration.

Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements.

PMP, RCDD, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Willingness to travel and be on-site as needed.
