QAQC Technician

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Field Training

• Lead and deliver hands-on training to installers, reinforcing proper techniques and best practices.

• Inspect installation work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

• Verify project documentation and task records for completeness and accuracy.

• Ensure teams are using the most current installation standards, procedures, and specifications.

Audits, Compliance & Reporting

• Conduct internal audits to confirm compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.

• Identify quality trends, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Create and distribute clear, timely QA/QC reports to project leadership and stakeholders.

• Support corrective action plans to address quality or compliance issues.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Support scheduling and workforce planning through quality assurance insights and feedback.

• Partner with project managers and field leadership to improve execution and outcomes.

• Help drive a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and safety across all job sites.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience managing structured cabling and low voltage projects with a strong focus on quality and performance.

• In-depth knowledge of low voltage cabling systems, infrastructure, and installation standards.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence field teams.

• Hands-on leadership style with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
