We’re looking for the right person to join our team! Our pay range is $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience. 
 
  • Assist with training and provide support to line operators to ensure timely and accurate completion of process checks in alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Assist with employee training sessions and meeting in partnership with the administration assistant.
 
  1. Can you verify that our employee will not be doing any final sign off or final inspection? – Not initially. Once the employee has been fully trained by management, they will take on final sign?off and final inspection responsibilities in conjunction with management

    Hi Sheyleigh,
     
    I’m working with our safety team on this but could we hold off on them having final sign off and final inspection responsibilities until after they’re hired on as a full-time employee? Yes,  training will take months before they are able to sign off on anything.

Requirements:
                          Bilingual (English and Spanish) a PLUS.
                          Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
                          Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
                          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
                          Attention to detail and accuracy.
                          Experience in the food industry a plus.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Review production and processing records to ensure accuracy and compliance with factory, regulatory, and customer standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of processing areas to verify product quality, service excellence, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Monitor formula specifications and maintain accurate, up?to?date documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Manage “Out of Specification” materials, documenting findings and communicating promptly with supervisors.
  • Collect microbiological samples and environmental swabs to support a safe and compliant factory environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace that aligns with hygiene and safety expectations.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate information to assist management in making informed food?safety and quality decisions.
  • Participate in collaborative, team-based problem-solving to address production issues or quality deviations.
  • Take part in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at elevating overall product quality and system performance.
  • Provide training and support to line operators to ensure timely and accurate completion of process checks in alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Product Testing, Documentation & Reporting
  • Collect and test finished product samples for attributes such as moisture and fat content; coordinate with external laboratories for additional testing as needed.
  • Create Certificates of Analysis (COA) using laboratory test results and ensure documentation accuracy for customer distribution.
Training, Policy Development & Compliance
  • Lead and organize employee training sessions and meetings in partnership with the administrative assistant.
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to align with current regulatory codes and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Practitioner and the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).
  • Support activities associated with FDA, WDA, and third?party audits as guided by the SQF Practitioner and PCQI.
  • Participate in online self-paced training to become a certified SQF Practitioner and PCQI—training and certification costs covered by MCT.
Customer & Vendor Interaction
  • Collaborate with management, customers, and vendors to address and resolve product quality concerns or complaints
