Reports to Chad Roovers VP of HR who has a safety background and took over safety January of 2023
15 recordables in 2022 has dropped each year and has only 2 this year.
Plant Manager and the Production Leads are all very invested and doing their own walkthroughs.
Green Bay has 65 employees and De Pere has 92. Has oversight, but no travel to Alaska (4 employees) and Tennessee (15 employees).
Will have a chance to lead facilities where they are in acquisition mode if they want to…looking to make Canadian acquisitions.
Will run all toolbox talks and lead CBT (Computer based training.)
Will work with Concentra on reasonable suspicion cases, and partner with maintenance on fire sprinkler management.
Very little environmental piece…scrubber and exhaust testing, backflow testing, but no DNR permitting.
5+ years preferred because prefer not to train someone.
Must have filed OSHA logs, done accident investigations, and 5 Y’s.
Bilingual would be a huge plus as 20% of the workforce is Spanish speaking.
Degree or certifications will be considered.
