Screen Print Screen Washer
General Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
As a screen print screen washer, you will play an important role in the production and quality of print jobs in the Screen Print department. You will be responsible for following safety and procedure guidelines to successfully clean the screens between printing runs.
Primary Duties:
Follow safety guidelines while cleaning the screens.
Follow procedure for proper cleaning of the screens.
Use water and a power washer to clean screens.
Use of chemicals and follow the directions to clean the screens.
Use of drying machines to dry the screens.
Always wear the provided gear for protecting eyes, clothing and feet.
Wear clothing that can be covered by paint and/or water.
Stand for long periods of time throughout the entire shift.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability and stamina for repetitive standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and stacking for the entire shift.
Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. throughout the shift
Capabilities and/or Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow strict safety guidelines.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a water environment daily.
Willingness to learn and cross-train for various job responsibilities.
Personal Protective Equipment and/or Dress Code Requirements:
Closed Toe Shoes
Jean and T Shirts (No Offensive Wording)
No name brand clothing (Nike, North Face, Patagonia)
Safety Glasses (Provided by Client)
Gloves to elbows in some departments (Provided by Client)
Ear Plugs (Provided by Client)
