Responsibilities:
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on existing systems
• Replace, re-terminate, and test system components as needed
• Work with door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, REX devices, etc.)
• Identify system issues and provide effective solutions on-site
• Read and interpret security and CCTV drawings and documentation
• Work safely on ladders/lifts; must be comfortable with heights
• Support additional low voltage service needs at commercial sites (schools, hospitals, data centers, offices, warehouses, etc.)
Requirements:
• 2+ years of commercial service experience
with access control, CCTV, and security systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience using test equipment
• Familiarity with telecom/data networks
• Programming or software experience with access control & CCTV platforms is a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Ability to travel to service sites across the Richmond, VA region
as needed
