Responsibilities
Install and service access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and electric strikes
Install mag locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware
Run, route, terminate, and label low voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6)
Terminate and connect field devices back to control panels
Perform panel wiring and system connections
Install and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems
Assist with installation of network devices and wireless access points
Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and wiring diagrams
Troubleshoot system issues and perform service work as needed
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Requirements
2+ years of commercial security or low voltage installation experience
Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and structured cabling
Willingness to travel to Lenoir, NC as needed
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, or similar platforms
Manufacturer certifications a plus
Experience working in commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
BICSI, OSHA, or lift certifications
