Senior Low Voltage Network Engineer – Waco, TX

Responsibilities:
- Design, install, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise-level low voltage network systems
- Configure and support LAN/WAN environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and support structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure
- Program and support networked access control and CCTV systems as needed
- Read and interpret network drawings, low voltage schematics, and as-built documentation
- Perform network testing, certification, and performance optimization
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights and commercial environments)
- Support additional low voltage systems in commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, data centers, etc.)
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians in the field
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in low voltage networking, infrastructure, or network engineering
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching
- Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Juniper, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic systems
- Experience with access control and CCTV integration is a plus
- Programming and commissioning experience in networked systems preferred
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
