Site Safety Coordinator – Richmond, VA
Next Level Technician is hiring an experienced Site Safety Coordinator in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and observations
- Complete Job Safety Observations and required safety documentation
- Identify jobsite hazards and implement corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
- Support safe execution of work involving ladders, lifts, pathways, and active construction environments
- Conduct new-hire and site safety orientations
- Support toolbox talks and safety training
- Participate in job planning and site coordination meetings
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations
- Maintain accurate safety reports and records
- Communicate safety concerns and trends to project leadership
- Promote a proactive safety culture across field teams
Requirements
- 2–5 years construction safety or related experience
- Strong understanding of OSHA and construction safety practices
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to identify hazards and address unsafe conditions in real time
- Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments
- First Aid / CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 30 preferred
- STSC or equivalent safety certification preferred
- Low voltage, structured cabling, or data center experience a plus
