General Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
As an Industrial Paint Supply Manufacturer Utility Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a consistent supply of materials and assisting in the production process to meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Primary Duties:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production of industrial paint supplies.
Maintain a steady supply of raw materials by monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the supply chain team.
Assist in the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and product specifications.
Could operate forklift if working in shipping & receiving, to load/unload shipments, retrieve & transport chemical containers as paint supplies.
Identifies correct materials and product for blends and orders.
Identify and correctly label product as well as adhering to safety labels
Maintain a clean work area as well as assisting in general housekeeping of the warehouse.
Capabilities/Experience Required:
Experience in manufacturing environment required
Experience operating a forklift if working in the shipping/receiving department
Experience as a machine operator a plus but not required
Must be a Team Player and work with a sense of urgency.
Must be safety cautious, see something say something.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for a full shift, walk, stand, bend, lift, stoop, turn, twist, push, pull, raising arms above shoulders and head, and operating machinery.
Paint smell in the warehouse, most get use to it quickly
Personal Protective Equipment and/or Dress code Requirements:
Steel Toed Boots Required NO shoes
Jeans/T-shirt Required (non-offensive)
Safety Glasses and Ear protectors provided by the company
NO PHONES ALLOWED ON FLOOR, Required to store phone in locker or breakroom
