Warehouse Associate
General Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for
break-out, assembly, material handling without the need for a forklift
.
Primary Duties:
Safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
Assist in the accurate tracking and organization of inventory to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Provide support to assembly line workers by delivering materials and components to the production line in a timely manner.
Conduct visual inspections of materials and products to identify any defects or issues, reporting findings to supervisors as necessary.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Assist with general warehouse maintenance tasks, such as cleaning work areas and equipment, to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and move objects as needed.
Work with a sense of urgency and able to be self-sufficient
.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled area.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Capabilities and/or Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to efficiently communicate.
Attendance is VERY important.
Personal Protective Equipment and/or Dress Code Requirements:
Pants and short/long sleeve shirt
Steel toed boots or shoes
Safety glasses (provided by client)
