Position Title: Welder - 1st Shift
Wage:$19/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Newer modern warehouse facility. Work for a company that values a work/life balance. On the job training is provided and benefits available after 60 days of employment which include Medical, Vision, and Dental.
Welder responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate welding machines that weld together and mass-produce component parts of fabricated metal products as specified by blueprints (read and understand weld symbols), layouts, welding procedures, or oral instructions
- Train new and/or potential welders basic welding techniques
- Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment
- Heat, form, and dress metal parts using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment
- Ignite torch and adjust valves, amperage or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
Welder requirements:
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended amounts of time
- Read, write, and communicate effectively
- Bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
- MIG and TIG welding experience preferred
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Good attendance and reliability is a must
- Experience working with aluminum, stainless, carbon steel, and robot welding
